One of the biggest challenges of traveling during the holidays is knowing what restaurants are open and when. There's nothing worse than wandering around on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, cold and hungry, looking for a decent place to have a meal. Lucky for you, we called our favorite spots to see when they're open this holiday season and compiled a list. Here goes!

This is one of the ultimate local French hangouts. Standing room only, you’ll need to use your elbows to push past and find a spot along the bar. Once you do, there’s fantastic communal bread and house-made butter, and a menu that exists only along the ceiling.

All items are served as small bites and they are incredible, ranging from skewers of foie gras with piquillo peppers (5 Euro) to the Comptoir Burger (9 Euro) to delicately sweet scallops served on their shell (5 Euro). Wines by the glass are also delicious for 5 Euro a glass, 25 Euro a bottle.
